Seoul National University
SNU offers international spring and fall admission. Check the relevant semester guide; English courses do not mean the entire bachelor programme is taught in English.
Checked: . Conditions depend on programme, qualification and intake.
After school in Kazakhstan
Applicant and parent citizenship, school documents and international category are checked under the intake guide. Prepare certification and translations where required.
Admission tests
Additional results and portfolio requirements depend on the college. SAT is not asserted as universally compulsory.
Language and proficiency
The intake guide specifies Korean or English evidence and exemptions. Check programme teaching language separately from admission language evidence.
Selection statistics
Not published in this guide: comparable statistics for the chosen programme and international-applicant category have not been verified. A university-wide admission rate must not be treated as an individual Kazakhstan applicant’s probability.
An overall admission rate is not your personal probability. No exam score guarantees admission.
Tuition and full budget
The official Fall 2026 guide includes tuition by college and semester. It is a 2026 reference, not a confirmed 2027 price. Budget separately for housing, food, insurance and documents.
Funding and obligations
GKS is a separate competition with country quotas, degree levels and participating institutions. Check programme participation and Kazakhstan eligibility in the current call.
Preparation and application route
1. Choose a Seoul National University programme and confirm that your qualification is eligible. 2. Check subject and language requirements in the official source. 3. Prepare translated school documents and the required results. 4. Work out the full budget and check any separate funding application before submitting. 5. Apply under your intake rules, then check offer conditions and visa requirements.
Illustrative example — hypothetical scenario
Hypothetical scenario: a candidate selects SNU and a specific college. They check the international category and applicant/parent citizenship documents, then the programme teaching language. Admission language evidence is not assumed to prove an entirely English-taught course. GKS eligibility is checked separately from university admission.
